The Rye Free Reading Room wouldn’t exist as it is today without the support of the community. Each year, the City of Rye generously pays a significant portion of the library’s expenses – the rest up to you.
Your donations directly fund the materials on the shelf and the programs available at the library. Last year, we were able to add almost 7,000 new items to our collections, including close to 1,000 ebooks and e-audiobooks, expand children's series books by over 200 copies, and offer over 20% more programs for seniors, adults, teens, and children.
