Vehicle Fair is an annual fundraiser for the Rye Free Reading Room scheduled on Sunday, June 1, 2025 on the Village Green in Rye. The Rye Free Reading Room's annual Vehicle Fair started in 1998, and more than 300 families from Rye and neighboring towns are expected to attend. It's a family-fun event that raises over $25,000. Every dollar raised supports children's programming, museum passes, the Summer Reading Program, STEM programming, and other community events.
Vehicle Fair gives children the chance to climb aboard a fire truck, sit in a police car and experience many other fun vehicles. The success of Vehicle Fair is driven in large part by the support of local businesses. We ask you to consider serving as a sponsor or underwriter for this event.
