The Rye Free Reading Room's annual Vehicle Fair started in 1998. Each year, families are invited to the Rye Village Green to test drive fan-favorite vehicles like fire trucks, bulldozers, and cherry pickers, participate in vehicle-themed activities, play games, jump castles, and enjoy live entertainment, food, and more — all while supporting our local library. It's a family-fun event that raises over $25,000. Every dollar of your sponsorship supports lifelong learning programs for children and families.
On June 1st, Vehicle Fair will welcome 1,000+ attendees, with most families in 18 to 49 age range. The Rye Free Reading Room hosts over 150,000 visitors annually, reaches 7,000 households through direct mailings, connects with 1,300 individuals through email, and 600 household members.
